3.1 Phillip Lim 'Improv-isualists' Men's Spring/Summer 2012 Collection

Phillip Lim, one of the favourite fashion designers at The Style Examiner, has launched a short promotional film to showcase the Spring/Summer 2012 menswear collection for the brand 3.1 Phillip Lim. If many of similar visual marketing forms can lean towards the dull and pseudo-artistic, the crew behind the film ‘Improv-isualists’ managed to produce a piece of restrained beauty that is worth watching by fashion lovers or by those who appreciate the poetic results that film can achieve.

The collection focuses on  well-tailored garments where shades of white and blue coexist on their own or in sophisticated ombre effects across layered garments such as wide trousers tapered at ankles or sleeveless shirts. Original details such as low wide lapels and subtle geometric patterns are introduced in a stylish collection that will undoubtedly be very coveted for the warmer days of 2012.
