From observing the numerous collections at the Milan and Paris menswear fashion weeks for Autumn/Winter 2012/13, it seems undeniable that green will be a ubiquitous colour for the colder months to come later this year. If colours that have been popular for a couple of seasons (namely bright orange, wine tones, and vibrant shades of blue) are expected to remain popular, green is to make a huge impact from luxury designer stores to high street retailers.
In addition to shades of olive, moss, and army green, darker tones of green (closer to bottle green or with hints of dark blue or grey) will most certainly enliven men’s wardrobes a year from now in fabrics as diverse as cotton, wool, velvet, cashmere, or leather.
