The Artist Scoops Costume Design Award at BAFTAs

The Artist's costume designer Mark Bridges was named the winner of the Costume Design award at last night's Orange British Academy Film Awards. Bridges received the award from actors Hayley Atwell and Chris Hemsworth at a ceremony at London’s Royal Opera House.

The film also scooped the awards for Best Film, Director, Original Screenplay, Original Music and Cinematography. This was Bridges’s first nomination and first award in this category, even though he is certainly no stranger to costume designing. Previous credits include films such as 8 Mile, Boogie Nights, Magnolia, The Fighter, and There Will Be Blood.
