Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs Exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris

The Style Examiner received these photos from the talented architect, photographer, and fashion lover Jorge Ayala who attended the private view of the exhibition ‘Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs’ at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, and has kindly agreed to share them with our readers.

This exhibition tells the stories of Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs and how the two men contributed to the fashion industry. Intending to be an analysis rather than a retrospective, this parallel Vuitton-Jacobs comparison provides an insight into fashion during its pivotal periods, beginning with its industrialisation and ending with its globalisation, focussing also on its artistic professions and crafts, technological advances, stylistic creations and artistic collaborations.

  1. Brilliant Exhibition! Even if I'm not a real fan of MJ work at LV, I really like the comparison between the past and the present, the founder and the actual creative director. Happy 15th Anniversary Mr.MJ!
