Marithe+Francois Girbaud Spring/Summer 2013

French fashion brand Marithe+Francois Girbaud is marking 40 years in the fashion industry and unveiling its official comeback in the form of a Spring/Summer 2013 collection that explores traditional tailoring while adding more relaxed sartorial elements.

The collection also stresses Marithe+Francois Girbaud's environment-friendly approach to fashion production by reintroducing the brand's own 'NoWater NoChemical' denim range alongside its designer line 'M+F Girbaud Design'. The 'Le Jean De' line comprises trans-seasonal denim garments that evoke a water-worn and sun-softened texture created by using the water-free WATTwash and Ozone treatments. Highlights for men include classic cut trousers which taper at the knees to create a skinny silhouette and asymmetric waistcoats to be worn under textured jackets.
