Ellus Spring/Summer 2014

For its Spring/Summer 2014 women’s and menswear collection (shown during São Paulo Fashion Week in March 2013), Brazilian label Ellus is proposing a passage to India blended with a rebellious motorcycle culture: abstract floral prints in either chiffon or highly textured and bejewelled fabrics contrast with rough denim and biker jackets and in garments where zippers and fastening straps abound.

Under the creative direction of Adriana Bozon, Ellus developed a range of clothing, footwear and accessories (that will undoubtedly prove to be commercially successful despite not being original on the design front) where denim, chamoix, metallic silk and organza, jacquards, raised cottons and perforated leather conjured simultaneously images of exotic landscapes and youth culture.
