New Year Honours recognise fashion personalities

The New Year Honours, which recognise the achievements and service of people in the United Kingdom, have once again rewarded the careers of individuals involved in fashion and associated industries. 

Phoebe Philo, creative director at Céline received an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to Fashion, while make-up artist Pat McGrath and fashion designer and fashion print teacher Natalie Gibson were awarded the title of Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE).
