Jaewan Park Autumn/Winter 2014 Menswear

Korean-born and London-trained and based menswear designer Jaewan Park has recently unveiled a collection for Autumn/Winter 2014 that evidenced his highly accomplished capacity to demonstrate proficient tailoring while imbuing his garments with subtly creative touches. Resorting to textured wools and cottons in a sombre colour palette of greys, black and whites, and conventional herringbone and Prince of Wales checks, Park designed a range of overcoats, jackets and shirts where his passion for trompe l’oeil detailing was ingeniously introduced in smart hidden buttoning, concealed plackets, asymmetric fastening and double lapels that undoubtedly deserve closer inspection by the international fashion industry.
