Zaha Hadid and Lalique unveil crystal vase collaboration

Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid has partnered with French luxury glassmakers Lalique to design a new collection of crystal vases. The range, which explores the notion of animation and fluidity, comprises two limited-edition models that come in clear or black versions and with satin or polished finishing.

When asked how the collaboration came about, Hadid stated, “I have always had a passion for glass and crystal, and started collecting pieces at an early age in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours. I was delighted to be asked by Lalique to collaborate as we have recently been exploring the specific properties of glass and its behavioural characteristics.”
